How We Test Products

Before I write about a product, I use it. That sounds obvious, but a lot of affiliate sites don't. I'd rather take a month longer and have something real to say than rush a review based on a product page. If the testing reveals the product isn't worth recommending, I just don't publish — I don't have quotas to hit.

Using What We Publish

What worked for the author will not necessarily work for every reader. Recommendations on this site are based on direct experience and should be treated as starting points for your own investigation, not as definitive answers. Individual circumstances vary enough that a product or approach that suited one person may simply miss the mark for another.

How We Make Money

Some of the outbound product links on this site are affiliate links. Purchases made through them result in a commission being paid to the site operator by the respective affiliate program. This arrangement does not change the purchase price.
